Thoughts on featuring content creators.

I Love YTtalk
A Rivet Gaming and myself are talking about hosting a multi-channel in the future doing some different content, I had a thought for one of my shows to help get the word around about other channels, helping new content creators getting there foot in the door.

The idea was to talk with you lovely people and more and doing a show featuring a Channel. The idea would be basically working with "you" to understand what your channel is about. I don't want to say an interview but more of a friendly chat.

Right now the idea is focused around gaming related channels.
The Format
-chat with the creator for a small period
-follow through there process or help with an episode
-talk about reasons behind or aspiration

It's still up in the air right now but I would like opinions from all of you. As well as ideas to add to the pot, what would you like to see. I would appreciate any input I can get ^.^

To be interesting you would need to give specific tips about how to improve a channel and to pick channels that already have that little extra bit.

It's a nice idea but I'm wanting to stick away from being a complete critic, I wouldn't say that's the only way to make a feature interesting. I already have a few ideas but want to brainstorm with all of you ^.^

That's more of what I was thinking for it, just trying not to be dry with it like most documentaries ^.^

That's a very good idea, think it would be wise to have a skype video conference, with a looping clip, (on bottom left or right) of there content while you guys discuss techniques, who they are, why they got started, how they have evolved e.t.c, :)

My one real issue is I'm not wanting to put my face out there, I'm working on an idea or work arounds. I was thinking of using facerig if I go that way. Mostly likely unless I can come up with a better method it will be a Skype call with footage from the creators work.

You need to be careful who to pick though. Every person that will propose its channel will do it for one main reason: Exposure. Some channels may be good as is, or just generic, you need to see what channels are trying to do different stuff, and need improvement, otherwise it will end up being just a tool other channels use to promote themselves
