Those of you that have a professional looking background and/or intro?

I need to stop caring too much.
I just have a question. Do you think having these two or one of them has helped you in any way? Has it helped you gain more subs or views or anything?
 
I think it is important to make your channel look professional but you cant really determine if thats why someone subscribed to you or not you know? But I doubt ive gotten any views or subscribers because of my channel design but you never know.
 
In my personal opinion, an intro would waste precious seconds of my viewers time... but then I can see more established YouTuber as Smosh who have a short intro that is changed to make it interesting.
My channel background has had MANY hours of work into it, and whether it helps or not, I dunno i think it gives a further layer of my personality in there + it's something I am proud of having done :)
 
I actually learned a little tip. If you have an intro, copy the best part of your video and put it at the start and after that play your intro and your actual video. That way people will get interested in your video and they won't get bored after they watch your intro :D That's what I'll start doing with my feature videos.

It was my first time using an intro and background music now in my newest video and I didn't put it at the very start. I put it after I had said the line "Hey, this is AYRENvids, bringing you another bad quality video since 2011" :D
