Those damn live statistics...

Loving YTtalk
I'm in the making money online game since quite a few years, but I've never seen something as addictive as that.

While I'm videoediting/working on the laptop can't help but have that tab open and every five minute or so I take a quick peek and that ends up defining in positive or negative the following five minutes :help:

Well I opened this thread hoping to see other data-junkies chiming in, but looks like I'm the only one obsessive-compulsive around here, haha

I dont have enough viewers/subs to warrant checking! Though I do like to check out all the different statistics, even if the numbers are low. Still, only just started so it should pick up.

Whenever I release a new video or promote it somewhere new, I watch the numbers far too closely. Otherwise I have no problem ignoring the live updates and continuing as normal.

I especially like watching the live stats on weekends when we get higher views than normal, I like seeing how many views in the last 48 hours and trying to figure out if we're going to hit milestones.

Yeah the 48 hours is the "worst", before that I used to just check my most viewed videos just occasionally, since the introduction of the global channel 48 hours views I can't help but keeping peak at it hoping to reach new peaks in the most trafficked hours (and of course if it shows less views in the same hour compared to the previous day the panic starts to kick in haha)

I've noticed a correlation between cold weather and increased views, this unseasonably warm weather definitely hurts views!
