This is getting really annoying!!!

It's really unfortunate, but best to get used to it. Things will only get worse the more recognition your channel starts to get. I can't even imagine what PewDiePie's inbox looks like. *gulp*

If they did a similar video, actually commented on my content, subscribed themselves, and said they hoped I'd check out their video, I don't mind. (Like, if we did the same tag or challenge). If they're coming on a video just to post 'CHECK ME OUT AND SUB PLZ' then I question the point of it.

I know I'm complaining about something that has been here for so long!
But I had to put it out! :p

Yesterday a girl commented on my video to check her channel and then ANOTHER girl commented her comment saying "I love your channel!"

What the hell? That was my video! I didn't enjoy seeing that!

that other girl is probably the same person
I've noticed the exact same profile says they love the channel on alot of spam comments so its probably just another account

It happens. I tell people I will check out their channel and don't promise to sub because they're looking for sub4sub which means nothing since they won't watch your videos. I don't people who ask you to check out their channel and sub because it's presumptuous. I usually have to see a few videos from someone to decide if I want to subscribe so promoting via social media is better since you can tell people to check out your video, your channel and sub if they like.

Sadly I just ignore those comments. Most of them are just canned comments and they haven't actually done anything.

While I sometimes check out their channel, it is SPAM, and it gets annoying. YouTube, like any other social media site, has plenty of people who are just in it for the numbers. That's why I really started to hate services like YouNow, because it was all about the numbers.
