Third-party Music

Hi all, my very first post. Thanks for having me.

We have a license to use music from a third-party library. We've posted over 100 videos to YT - many of which contain music from that library. Now, twice in the past two months, we've had uploads blocked by YT saying that our video matches third-party content. This means you have to file a dispute. The first was resolved within 30 days, but some of our material is time sensitive, and I don't want this to keep coming up.

Is there a way to get some sort of blanket release from YT - or something - so that this won't continue to be a problem?

Thanks! --Kevin

Thanks Fezstar. No, not a network. We're a small utility in the Western US. It's so odd that this is happening now. We've been uploading vids - with this same third-party music - for four years. Odd.

It might be a case of that piece of music you were using has been re-released or had it's copyright changed as(for example) a TV show used it and now own the copyright. (Potentially)

But I can't see why it would be an issue.

Have any of those songs specifically been released? I.e, iTunes, Spotify.. Have they at any point be purchasable?

Hmmmm, food for thought. We're reaching out to our vendor and I'll ask him about changes to the copyright and/or sales to Spotify/iTunes.

Thanks again!
