Thinking of rebranding everything, but need a little help

MyLifeMyWorld

I Love YTtalk
Ok so I have been thinking about it for a while and I think I want to change everything. I'm not sure I like using my name as my channel name, but I don't know what to change it to. Nothing is standing out to me.

I am starting a business called Bits of All, so would it be wise to use that as my channel name? I mean could they all be linked together or is that a bit too much? I am starting a blog as well soon when I get a chance, so everything would be linked if I use that name.

My channel is a mixture of things, vlogs, challenges, rants, reviews maybe even games when I get a new computer, plus anything else that takes my fancy over time.

I am in the process of designing a new channel banner and avatar so I need to make my mind up on this over the next few days, so any help is welcome.

Also I know the twitter username can be changed, but can the google+ one be changed as well?

Just realised I use "so" a lot, ah so what haha.

It's a difficult one, one that I've been struggling with as well. I'm not looking to rebrand as such, but finding a selling point, a focus when we're wanting to not limit ourselves to just one thing is difficult.

Get yourself a notepad, jot down all the things you want to make on your channel, see if they can all link into one category. Then jot down all the things you enjoy, what you'd love to talk about in your videos, is there a common theme there too?

Whether it's gaming, movies, TV, or just life, you need to base your brand around that.

With your channel, your videos are gonna be centred around you a LOT. That makes you a vital part of your channels image, you are also a part of the selling point, part of what you're asking people to subscribe to, so how do you wanna sell yourself?

A lot to think about there, hope that helps :)

Or you can make a new channel and star over and ask subscribers from previous channel to subscribe to new one :)

You have given me a lot to think about thank you :)

In a way that is basically what I will be doing. But this way I get to keep everything, although it's not a lot of things to keep, as I don't have all the videos saved that I have done already.

A rebranding and redoing can really be beneficial even if you feel like you are losing a little to begin with, its made up for by the opportunity to do things better than last time and start a fresh. I would go for it if you feel you should and can do things better under the new name and branding etc

Yeah I have lot of plans and ideas for what and how to do things. I have learnt a lot over the last year. I'm not starting a new channel though, just changing what I have at the moment.

Oh got you :D I was under the impression it would be a restart there :D Even a rebrand with your current channel can go a long way, YTtalkTV has had 3 rebrands during its life one didnt go so well but the third one I have been happy enough with.
