Thinkin of making t-shirts.

Hey guys.

So ive been thinking about making t-shirts advertising my youtube channel. I dont think this will drum up much, if any, subscriptions but i think it would be cool to have anyway. and who knows it might actually get people more interested if they find out about it. you never know.

Right now my channel has a theme, for those who dont know, I treate my channel as a digital world, Where i am the Hard Drive and my subscriptions are the Programs. that being said this is what i was thinking for my shirt/hoodie.

I planned on getting 2 shirts and 1 hoodie. Both would be black with green/neon green lettering.

on the front it would say "Ghost Ookami"
and on the back it would have the link to my channel across the shoulders, and in the middle of it would be my slogan "Programs United"

on the right arm i would have the letters" HDD", this would only be for my shirt. if i ever sold any or gave any away it would say "Program" on the sleave instead.

its a very simple design but i would like your guys opinion on it. I unfortuneatly dont have a logo yet (cant think of one) or else i would put that on it as well. But for now it will be a Mark-1 design. in the future i will probably add to it.

what do you think?
 
That's cool man, if you can afford it I say go for it. I plan to make some merchandise one day as well, but as for now I'm broke as a joke. I'm so broke I can't even pay attention. I'm so broke I lick OTHER peoples fingers at KFC. I'm so broke when I rub two pennies together I have to borrow one. I'm so broke American Express called me and begged that I leave home without it. I'm so broke my bologna has no first name. I'm so broke Sally Struthers sends me food. I'm so broke I owe myself money! Okay I'll stop now lol.
 
It would be a good source of advertisement, but people have to buy the t-shirts/hoodies first. If you gave them away, people would be more inclined to check it out, I do not think you could sell it at this stage. Giving them away would very much interest the public, and if you made the shirt/hoodie tasteful then people would wear it outside, giving you more advertisement. It is actually quite a nice idea, however, it might be hard to pull off. Good Luck!

Yea i didnt plan on selling it for a looooooooong time. I will probably end up giving some away in the future once the channel grows.
 
lol are you planning on selling quotes on your shirts like peter chow "stop with the hatoraids" i think it isss or duck dynasty style "hey, hey, that's piece a junk"
 
Even with our subscriber base, we only sell about 2 t-shirts per month. Giving them away is a better idea if you have the money to burn.
 
I didnt plan on selling them for well over a year. probably shouldnt have put that in my post sorry. I will be giving them away eventually though once the subscriber base grows.
