Hi everyone
My name is Denis and I've have a YouTube channel with different topics like.
"metal detecting, diving, caving, urban exploring, climbing, extreme activities".

And I think I've made a mistake by not focusing on one topic.
Each week I'm posting different video from the category's mentioned above.
I've read a lot of articles and strategies ,and discovered that I'm a mess considering by Youtube's algorithm.
I don't have specific audience.
And because of that I'm not begin discovered.

Spare the "post consistency and youtube is a marathon thing"

I know thet YouTube takes time....

I'm already doing really good content
And sure there room for improvement but I'm sure the lacking of discovery is because of the variety of my videos.

So correct me if I'm wrong.
I need help to fix this problem,
Rebalance my channel.
Thanks in advance.

Just keep going you are doing great, keep making videos that you enjoy, videos that are important to you, with time you will figure it out & will narrow things down to fewer activities. "metal detecting, diving, caving, urban exploring, climbing, extreme activities" which ones do you enjoy most, which ones bring most views/feedback? so just leave the ones that work best for you & for YouTube & create a channel for each? can you narrow it down to just 2/3? it would be great if 2 of these activities could be on 1 channel

Thanks for the reply
It feels like you the only one here haha.
Except for the narrowing idea,
Is there a way to save my current state of the channel?
Like with hashtags or anything alike?

No idea, don't take my opinion too seriously though, ask around for more advice, I decided to keep going with various videos but all connected with 1 topic = videography, it feels like too much work to have 2/3 channels especially when having a financially viable YouTube channel is very unlikely statistically speaking. You can however use your channel as part of a resume to find a job in related field, it kind of works like that for me.

Yo man I think you’re channel is really good! I subbed just for you’re personality so I wouldn’t worry about all the different kinds of videos because they’re all extreme activities and fit well around your persona.

The content is great, you’re editing is good and you’re funny. The only improvement I would make is making your titles a little more clear and detailed. This will help get views and look more professional.

Use capital letters for the start of most words and put brackets stating the activity/location. Have a look at the way I do my titles and you will see what I mean. Also, make sure you put tags in the tags section of your video.

But apart from that just enjoy making the videos and you will grow slowly. All you need is one big hit for a big growth spurt. Don’t give up because the more videos you make, the better you will get and that’s a journey in itself.

Thank you :)
I will try my best to fix the problem ;)
And I will implement your tip as well
Thanks :)

Omg! I love your channel dude:lovedup: I think you just not meet the Utube algorithm to make your videos appear in good ranks. So that people not found your videos and people less share it. I think you have to find something that can increase your videos share. Have you asked all your friend sharing at their social media?
Thanks :)
I think I need to make shorter videos to get a good view retention;)
And then it will help me with the algorithm

Your channel trailer is really well polished. You feel like a well-established youtube channel to me.

I have 2 questions
1 - who is your target person?
and 2 - when they find your video or see it's thumbnail how do they know this video is for them?

Regarding the many video topics you have, I would suggest making a playlist for each one of those topics and adding those playlists to your Channel Home page so anyone landing on your page will see the array of videos you make, and if they only care about caving they can find all the caving videos right there.

Also, it helps the algorithm know those videos are related. If someone watches 3 videos from that playlist, it will often recommend another video from the same playlist.

Hope this info is useful
