The Video Quality of using an Android camera

JB Clem

Posting Mad!
Most of the videos on my channel are shot on my Android mainly because I don't have the funds for a better camera, lol. But how is the video quality of an Android compared to other cameras?

Not to be mean but the quality of the tablet/phone/whatever you're using is pretty bad. You don't need a "good" video camera to get good quality. When I make videos that need a camera I just use a cheap 120$ Canon digital camera. My family likes to take pictures so we have it anyways, and if you have good lighting it takes great quality videos. For only 120$ (which is cheap as some cameras can be 500$+) it's definitely a good thing to invest in if you plan on running a YouTube channel.

I will say this: I use an iPhone 4 to record my videos, and the camera has fairly low quality and horrendous white lighting. I'd suspect the droid camera is similar, since it's the same type of product. A professional camera is way better, but as was mentioned above you don't need a thousand dollars to buy a decent camera.

What model is that $120 Canon digital camera.

Canon PowerShot A2300. If you go to Canon's online store and choose camera/photography I think it is, then choose point and shoot it's in there close to the top. I was off by 10 dollars it's 129.99$. So still a decent price for 720p.
