Haiii guys ! :smug:
As many of you might have noticed, Youtube came up (a long time ago) with a new layout !
But some people here said that it'll be obliged to use it in a few days/weeks. Is that true? Because I really think it's not as nice as my actual one.
If we will all have to use it sooner or later, I should start using it now, right?
 
schmeh, used it just to set up for when the change is forced upon us... so I'm ready for every channel to look exactly the same as the others... just like the promotions say...

Can I just ask how every channel will look exactly the same as others? That doesn't even make sense unless you have the same banner. If you think about it, with the old layout everyone had the same layout, different backgrounds.

OneChannel - Same layout, different banner
Cosmic Panda - Same layout, different background.

It's the same exact thing. I don't understand why people argue that.
 
Well, it's probably unavoidable for the forced change to come, sadly. I'm just holding on to the old layout as long as I can ;)

it's exactly how youtube said it, every channel is a individual snowflake, and as we all know, snowflakes all look the same from far away, the layouts may be in a different order, and they all may be a slightly different tint/shade of white, but snow is snow and it all looks the same. the backgrounds are what partially defined your channel and gave you branding, but now that whole concept has been completely handicapped to a small space, and now you just have a giant mess of white. it's a boring, samey, bland layout and we'd all better lube up for it, because it's going to be shoved up our arsses whether we like it or not.

Well first off, no two snowflakes are alike, so therefor your argument is already invalid.

It's just a layout change. Accept change, and make the best of it. Complaining about it will get you no where.

It's true, but we can still give our opinion. :smug:

My point of view is as Valkrie's I think our background defines the first opinions that someone has of our channel, and taking it away might not be a very good idea. But anyways, Youtube did it, we'll deal with it.
