Text Or Picture LOGO

I want to make a logo, but I'm having a bit of trouble as i can't choose between making one with simply text and add a special touch to it, or should i make a Picture or Symbol, Help Me decide by voting and commenting below, I'm going to make them myself using Photoshop or Illustrator

Some Youtubers have a logo with just text but the font is fancy and curved and stuff LOL. Yeah
