Text messages when you get a sub ^_^

You can set this up with a filter for emails from "*@youtube.com", and the subject line containing "has subscribed", so that any time someone subs your channel, you get a notification on your phone just like twitter. I haven't set it up yet, but I'm sure you can set up filters for other things like new messages, comments on your videos, etc.

That's neat! I have it set up so youtube sends me an e-mail for new sub or private message. Then I turn push notifications on for e-mail. Whenever I get a new e-mail my phone makes a sound.
 
I normally get an email.... I say normally cause there has been times that I didn't get an email. (nope wasnt in junk bin either)
 
Oh wow! That's awesome! Especially for smaller channels! Obviously having a big channel you wouldn't need it, but for small channels something everyone should have set up!
 
Yup yup... I'm still a pretty small channel, so hearing an audible notification every time I get a sub is really motivating! ^_^
