Tech Channel Branding?

Hi,
I've already had three different channel banners of my 4 months of YouTubing, and I'm still not happy with what i've got! I've been told blue would be a good colour for a tech based banner, and that i might want to include some devices and stuff in there, but i'm a bit stuck for ideas.

Do any of you have any helpful tips or ideas for a tech banner?

With most tech channels you'd normally associate blue and circuits with a banner, so why not go with a but of contrast and have some natural things in it, like pieces of technology sitting on leaves in a forest or something like that Apple used the same technique when they were being founded, Steve Jobs worked at an apple picking field and he decided to make his company something natural instead and so he chose 'Apple'

I would have to agree. Blue is typically associated with tech channels. But in the end it is about what you like and what you find sleek. There are alot of things you can include in your banner to make it pop. But ultimately keep in mind that this is everyone's first impression of you. Even moreso than their channel trailer. When you comment you can now see peoples banners in addition to the avatar.

So do what you can to explain your channel without over cluttering things.
Show what you will be talking about on your channel and give them a reason to stay =)

I'm a tech YouTuber myself and I think your banner is too messy. Don't make it so complex. Maybe just your name and a slogan would be a good idea. Your current banner is too complex and is very heavy on the eyes. Just cut out all the garbage and use a simple, clean banner that will be remembered by a viewer in just a glance.

You could have a look at my branding for inspiration as I am a tech youtuber too. I just wanted to make sure that my banner looks simple yet effective, I also always try to stick with 3 colours or less in most things that I do (shades of a colour are fine). It's a good idea to just keep experimenting with different ideas until you come up with a good design . It took me a lot of experimentation to come up with my branding.
