Teasing the viewer with a video for whats coming, would it work?

A few days ago I had an idea to engage my subscribers or make the viewers engage or tease a little with a new series I created.

As my channel is about first impressions of all kinds of games (and news and Let's Plays), I made a short Vlog where people can (partly) see what I will be covering in the coming weeks. My first video is up now and you can see it in my signature below.

What do you guys think. Could this work to engage my audience in the future, could it help me gain new viewers or is it not just quite there yet?
Also, what would you guys do?

It depends entirely on the size of the project. If it's something bigger than usual then it is a good idea. For example, movies do it with trailers, they give sneak peaks at the film to get peoples interest. If you do this on bigger projects it would help a lot. However if it's just a random video the same as all your rest I personally would avoid it.

I agree. But if you think it's gonna be seriously interesting and lots of people are gonna watch it, then I say go for it!:)

I agree as well. If you're planning on starting something new that you have never done on your channel before then it could be a good idea.

I think you should do them for videos that are special or out of the ordinary for your channel. For example, for me, I would do a sneak preview for original songs but never for covers. When people begin to see the sneak peeks to often, they stop clicking on them.
