Tags stop working?

I used to be able to partially type a tag and youtube would generate the tag for me or let me pick from a suggested list. The past few videos I have had to manually put in all my tags without any generated suggestions to speed up the process. Am I doing something wrong or is this feature no longer available?

I didn't like most of the suggested tags, though. I always used my own.

Happened to me when I uploaded my last video and it annoyed me too hope is just a bug

the suggested tag feature has been gone for at least half a month, based on my reading of several other threads for youtubers...so I don't know if it's a bug or if it's youtube removing this for good.

Didn't like the suggested tags either... I used other tools to find good ones for me or suggest good ones... or use the youtube searchbar itself!

It's probably gone forever (or until a lot of people complained about it or something) and yea, I've also noticed that its gone for a while now too. Just liked the feature because it gives me a base for tags and just expanded from there. They sometimes give tags I wouldn't even have thought of as well.
