hi all

i hear all different things about tags so what is the real answer ?

Some people say using "funny cat" is much better than just funny cat?

some people say "funny cat" in description helps ?

what is the secret to tags and whats best way to use them ? please help

Well I know when you put tags like "funny cat" in a game video without cats it really helps to get dislikes for your video. I don't say when you do that your video will have alot of dislikes, but it attracts the wrong people to your video. And I think yes "funny cat" is better than just funny cat, because when you do it seperate you will attract people who search for funny and/or cat. But alot of people do have funny and/or cat in the tags so the chance people will see your videos is kinda small.

I think there is not secret to tags, just describe your video best as possible in the tags and hope people will look for it.

Be honest with your tags. Think about what someone might type into a search engine. Oh and the speech-mark thing is irrelevant these days on YouTube you just separate each individual tag with a comma regardless of how many words.

Thanks for the comment just so you know i used "funny cat" because that's what the person in the forum i read used. I dont do videos about cats although i think they are very funny. Thanks all above for the replier too
