Tagging Videos

I suppose this could be listed as a strategy if it's not please move it to the correct spot.
I was just wondering what everyone tags there videos as?
Any tips and tricks or must have tags that new people starting up should know?

I usually have a list of relevant tags like stuff related to my videos, titles, description, etc. Not quite sure about tagging to be honest.
 
Well you're "supposed to" tag just whatever is relevant, but there is a lot of controversy about what is the most effective way to go at that. Some people say just put a few relevant tags, and others say to tag anything that has to do with your video. It's a tough call for me.

I was going to try and get a hold of a Youtuber that averages a few hundred views a video and see if they notice a difference or have any tips.

They also say that what's mentioned in the description matters as well?
 
What's in the description is HUGE. Key words, so like if my title is "Minecraft Fully Automatic Cactus Farm" I try to say the full title a few times in the description, and the individual words as many times as possible. I have done a lot of research on this and it has really helped my SEO

I'd be careful with "least important" of the three items we talk about here, they prob are the least lol but that doesn't mean they are not important. I don't think you were implying that though.
