Sync to blocked music videos

How I plan to make use of copyrighted music without infringing on their copyright in a novel way. By not playing music videos in my videos but rather linking to youtube videos of those songs that are of course not blocked on youtube itself. This would be of no issue to copyright holders because it is not playing any music though youtube is. Consider the following song by Aerosmith - Livin' On The Edge that is on the blocked list like all Aerosmith tracks:

www <dot> youtube <dot> com <slash> watch?v=7nqcL0mjMjw

We cannot use that song but youtube can and does. This like other songs may be preceded by a short advertising clip. After that plays, a song starts immediately with the time numerals shown at window lower left after the speaker symbol. If one mouse selects the PAUSE button at far left a video stops and the symbol change to a right arrow PLAY symbol. What most have probably never done is then select the time numerals and change the value to whatever. Thus if it was showing say 0:25 one could change that to 0:00 or 6:09 whatever. So for my purpose lets say an audience person brought that back to the start at 0:00.

If I upload a video for my account and provide text that might be select copy pasted manually as a link to that song and an audience person has paused so, they could synchronize that song to my video if on my video I display or sound a sync point. So I could create a video with some initial text pointing to say the above music video link, and then add in three static images at proper moments in the timeline with text:

ONE
TWO
THREE

accompanied with say a beep sound that an audience person could use to start by selecting the PLAY button of the linked music video at the same time my video was playing. If one was just listening to my video, one would hear no music at all. I might in fact mute my sound. But together it could show both action and music.

So one is going to wonder, of what value might that be for? Who in an audience is going to bother to hassle with all that? Well consider someone playing an instrument, maybe a guitar, that is playing along with the song track. In the current era one cannot do that at all with many famous music tracks. Also could be a vocalist doing likewise. Of course in these two cases they would not mute their audio. Also there are many dance groups today that cannot dance live on the Internet to music they prefer to dance to due to copyright blockage.

One issue someone will certainly bring up concerns whether or not a person will actually mouse select at a close enough instant to the SYNC point flashing on their screen to be effective. Well at 30 frames a second, as long as there is a buildup ONE TWO, selecting the THREE at within say 3 ticks of a 1/30 second frame is rather trivial. So being off slightly is not an issue.

I don't think I understand what you are talking about... Are you talking about making a playlist of music videos and adding your own videos as introductions to the separate artist's videos in the playlist?

Scow, lawyers on the google youtube site already seemed ok with the idea though that is not official. Of course I would not be playing any music at all just showing a way an audience person could play the music at the same time on their computer I was actually playing in my videos at the time on either my speakers or earbuds. Sound that in my uploaded videos would be muted out as that would not matter. I can't imagine why any legal people would have an issue though expect not a few youtube users are going to be jealous and thus hate this late comer is doing this after years others having been skewered.

In any case as a decades old high tech engineering person in Silicon Valley I do plan to first talk to some legal people up in San Bruno so as to not get any of them too excited surprising them with something no one else has done. And note it won't be a commercial account but if google suggest doing that so they can make money, that is fine with this peon that has never had much an interest in wealth. But one reason I am posting herein is to flush out anything I haven't considered and get some exposure so as not to shock. Also if others try to copy what I do in some way, youtube might first want to issue some guidelines so others don't go off the deep end.

Katy, nope. I am going to be playing videos of myself that have no sound at all in the background. Or might overdub jingle bells as a joke in my video muting out the classic rock music that was actually used when I recorded the videos. Music that due to the copyright blockage I cannot use even a blip or moment of at low crude levels according to youtube legal advice.
