Jeez, just saw that his post got closed over some dude getting buthurt

Pretty bad that people can't take any criticism , if you work on youtube, you work in the entertainment industry, and you better grow a thick skin because people are going to throw as much s**t as they can find at your face.

Symph' isn't the most popular YouTuber out there, hell, he might even not even know what would be appealing to the mainstream public, that's outside of the point, he's an unbiased audience member, you will just tell you his first impression with your product without sugarcoating anything. That's what I liked with him and probable what other people liked aswell.

Anywhom Symph, keep doing your s**t bro, however I don't quite get why you were punished by haven't your thread removed but the guy who went and trash talked you didn't get anything. Weird moderation happens I guess ^^

Ps : Not blowing any dicks here, when I like something i'm as expressive as when I don't like something.
 
He wanted the post locked actually. But yeah I agree you gotta be able to take criticism if you're on youtube. If you can't you might as well stop making videos.
 
I'm glad I missed that whole exchange.
Personally, I have found it hard to get people to be honest. They don't want to hurt your feelings.
I find Symph's honesty refreshing, even if I don't agree with what he says.
Me, I don't care either way. I give it freely and can usually take it if it's constructive.
 
Yeah, Symph is truly insightful, honest, and gives really good opinions. As soon as I make a video, I go straight to him for criticism lol! I KNOW he will tell me exactly what he thinks...and yes, it is refreshing to hear the truth!! If everyone keeps telling you "oh it's good, it's good"...you're never going to get any better, or make any improvements! I have taken his advice to heart and have noticed I've made positive changes in the way I do videos. Woo hoo Symph!!!
 
Awww thanks for making this thread guys! Yeah the thread getting locked had nothing to do with Kman, it was because I knew I already had enough requests to last me a couple months and figured we should cap it and let me get those reviews done before I do anymore. But this thread really made me feel good thanks guys.[DOUBLEPOST=1351699588,1351699434][/DOUBLEPOST]And yeah, you're right, I don't get mainstream stuff. I think that some of my criticisms are merely opinional, or may be me holding onto an ideal that isn't what the majority of people these days want, but some things that I notice I think really are just matters of good timing and good set up, so you just have to take my reviews with a grain of salt and realize that this is just my honest assesment, you have to decide for yourself how much of it is my personal preference and how much would actually cause your videos to be better received.
