Super Slow Motion Programs

Munchito696

I Love YTtalk
Does anybody know of a good program similar to Twixtor that is either free or cheap? The video in my signature was done on a free program, it is pretty tough to use though and doesn't have as high quality that I've seen with Twixtor.

It's not really about the program you use, Its more about the setup before you shoot the footage, Motionsquared did a great video on it
Tbh, Twixtor is the best by far, but if you have a nice camera that can shoot high fps with good exposure, you can make it work in just about any program

@Sinc I think you need to be really crazy to be able to do that. We by far haven't reached that lvl yet.

But Like said before make sure you use fps 50+ good lighting and then you can pull slow motion of pretty well.
Just make sure you don't go to far with slowing your video down,

You can just use Time-Remapping on After Effects CS6 and it gives a nice slo-mo effect:)

I have Cyberlink Powerdirector and I slowed down the same video in my signature. It is shot at 240FPS, so it still looked good after slowing it down 10x. The video in my signature is this weird free program, it is supposed to use similar technology as Twixtor to make even slower video have a smooth frame rate. I think it uses frame interpolation or something to fill in between frames. I want to use it for something like blowing things up or so I can shoot at a lower frame rate to get the higher resolution. I get 240 in WMVA, 120 at 720p, 100 at 960p. I'd like to be able to use the 960 or 720 even because the video looks a lot cleaner.[DOUBLEPOST=1385594567,1385594543][/DOUBLEPOST]
well if you slow down time, then you can just hit record.
I've tried that, it didn't really work...

too be honest twixtor doesn't always give amazing results. If you really want to work in Slo-Mo and do Slo-Mo videos you will need to invest in a real Slo-Mo camera or rent one every so often (if you rent one and film 10 videos in the rented time that would probs be best)
