Suggest me a laptop...? :)

Hey :)

So I need a new laptop or ultrabook,
I am looking for something light, slim, good performing and under $1000

If anyone knows of any good sales on laptops atm, let me know :)
 
some of the older ailenware laptops can be bought for about $800, they are super fast but a little hevaier than your average laptop :)

I don't need this for gaming, I have a desktop for that :)

This is meant to be a light, quick, slim laptop I can use when travelling :)
 
I have a macbook pro that I'm in love with. I used to have HP laptops but since I got a mac everything is just better.
 
I would go for the Alienware and here is why. If you are doing any kind of video editing motion graphics work then you want the high performance graphics card that in the laptop. The same needs for those game graphics will benefit you for your video/motion graphics.
 
Alienware is like Bose headphones, Dre Beats and Blue Yeti. About 40% overpriced against comparable. Ahelpfulguy, if ultimate mobility is what you're after then a macbook air is the prize of the day. If you can't stand macs, then I'd go over to Lenovo and check out the Ideapad Flex line.
 
Any laptop which has got like good battery life since you're going to be using it for travelling and stuff, i was going to suggest building a computer but since you already ave one i have no idea what to say haha, but for sure look around before you decide :p
