Subscribers who immediately unsubscribe?

I notice the number go up or down at times, but never was anal enough to look at who was subscribing and unsubscribing. I don't care anyway, I am not going to check out your channel just because you subscribed to me. So let them unsub. I only care about the ones that subscribed after watching my content.

I figure they're people who are subscribing as a type of bookmark. That is, they saw something on my channel they want to go back to, but don't want to go through their history (or don't know to) and can go on their subscription list in order to just check you back out, and then they'll unsubscribe, because it wasn't meant to be forever.

I think subscriptions can be like the stock market, a bit. While you'll have ups and downs, so long as you continue to invest (give good content and be consistent about it), the trend will continue to be upward over time.

This happens to me sometimes, but they never just sub and expect me to sub back. Usually they leave a comment just to make sure i know they subbed lol

Happened to me a lot when I uploaded. I would think they're just hoping you would subscribe back to them, as mentioned. But don't worry about it, they wont get anywhere doing that.

I started to do some shout outs recently and have fell into this trend some as well. My advice is if you are going to shout out some thank you's to any subscribers, make sure you do it from your COMMUNITY > SUBSCRIBERS > most recent within the YouTube control panel. Don't do any shout outs via email notifications.

That way you'll only call out real subs and not someone who subscribed, then unsubscribed later.

Jep a classic sign of Sub4Sub practice so sad really. I've had luckily just a very few of those >< But I try to monitor my subs so if I'm in any way watching that person on twitter or something I'll delete them because they are not worth the space.
