Subscribers number glitch

Might be people just looking to stir trouble. The comments section of videos on YouTube can be a mean, mean place.
On the other hand, I see little glitches from time to time. I'll see thumbnails from one YouTuber mixed with the names of other YouTubers I subscribe to. Usually this works itself out on the next reload or page click.

I don't understand. If your sub count is private, they can't see it surely? I'm guessing that these people are just trolling you. They see that your sub count is private and so they think you're hiding something. Just ignore them or make your sub count public again. ^^

one of them sent me a screenshot and it was showing 1M subs. I was thinking the same.

It's photoshopped. They are just bluffing you so you reveal your real sub count. Just ignore them.

They're probably just trying to mess with you by suggesting preposterous numbers!
Also, what is the reason you keep your sub count on private? I've seen a few channels with their subs private and I never really understood why.. Why do you do it?

I wanted to make it public at 10k, but (believe it or not) I forgot. Now I think I'll make it public for this reason, just 2 hours ago someone told me I have 56M subs... And I don't think they're messing around, I don't see why they would.
