Subscribers and views

I've Got It
Hey everybody on YTtalk!
I got a question for You!
How did you get subscribers and views on your channel. Did it grow by it self or what?

You have to interact with your audience and also interact with other people outside your initial audience. Be friends with your subscribers.
 
As probable one of the guys on here who gets the most views/subscribers (I know it sounds douchy, sorry I didn't knew how to put it) : A LOT of trial and error to learn e-marketing.
 
The way I look at it is if you promote your videos you will be view, if you get views you will get subscribers, if you treat your subscribers well you will get true fans, if you get true fans they will promote your videos, if they promote your videos you will get views, if they very your videos they might subscribe, if you treat them well they will tell even more people.

And the cycle goes on.

Note however I said to start with promote your videos give them something to subscribe to, don't just tell them to subscribe!

Best places are:
YouTube comment on other peoples videos, leave video responses, message them.​
Twitter talk to other YouTubers​
Facebook tell your friends to promote your stuff!​
Email your videos to friends​
Real Life...Tell people in person​

Exactly. That's how I got to where I am. You have to engage the community... and promote. Get your videos out there. There's only so much YouTube can (and will) do to promote you. The rest is on you. Ask you subscribers/viewers questions. Answer their questions. Comment on everything you can. Utilize Facebook, Twitter, Google+, these forums, sites like reddit, digg, etc.

...and keep at it. Sometimes it looks hopeless... but it's not. It's never hopeless. I'm going to hit 250,000 total video views at the end of the month. If you would have asked me a year ago when I thought I was going to hit 250,000... I would have said the year 2025. Keep at it.

Oh, and one more thing. Take risks. Calculated risks. You'll never get anywhere if you're afraid to take a leap. Have an idea that is absolutely crazy... as long as it's not gonna get you kicked off YouTube, do it! Good, engaging, original content is key.
