Submitting Tax Information for NON-US Creators

I just got an email from YT Adsense that "All (NON-US) YouTube creators and partners are required to submit tax information to ensure any applicable taxes on your payments are accurate."

A few questions...

1) Firstly my channel has a brand name, but is not part of an LLC, so therefore I'm still classed as an 'Individual' as opposed to 'entity', right?

2) Is 'W-8BEN' the correct form I need to fill out?

You need to state where you are based - in the UK your channel being a brand or your own name is irreverent for taxation, you're either self employed, a Ltd or an LLP. If you don't know your accountant will, if you don't have one you're probably self employed.

Have you already filled out your W8BEN form?

I've stated on the form that I am Non-US based, specifically United Kingdom.

I've got my 'foreign ITN' which is my Unique Tax Payer Reference Number from HMRC. I haven't submitted anything yet until all is clear (I don't have an accountant)

I'm assuming the UK is in a tax treaty with the U.S and therefore we're eligible to be taxed at a reduced (0%) rate? So for example, I need to select 0% (as opposed to 30%) for all those that apply in the following section, right?

It's probably all common sense...but with the threat of perjury it's best to be certain :)

Special rates and conditions
You may be exempt or have taxes withheld at a reduced rate on certain income types earned within the US. These reduced rates and exemptions vary among countries and specific income types.
Select all that apply to you. You can claim any future income type that you may plan to earn from Google products.

1) Services (AdSense)

2) Motion picture and TV (YouTube, Google Play)

3) Other copyright (YouTube, Google Play)

This is my understanding. Then it goes on your self assessment in full. If you did get taxed in the US you could claim that as part of self assessment with HMRC to avoid double taxation, just gets quite complex. but now we're into the accountant territory...
