Stop Motion Project... Need Ideas

ConnersCraft

I Make Video Games... :)
I have to create a 1-2 minute stop motion for a film class project. I have to give a pitch tomorrow, and I have basically no ideas. I had a really good idea, but a friend ended up using a very similar idea. Anyways, do you guys have any good ideas for a 3D stop motion project? Don't worry about how hard it would be to make or any of that. Those are not my concerns. I am just looking for any and all ideas as a starting point. All I would say is that I want it to be more than just a little pun. I want it to tell a story at the same time as having a filmic edge. I am going to be spending a lot of time on this project (at least a month or two), so I want to start somewhere good. You guys are all inventive, so I thought I would ask you all! Any ideas?:help: Also, please do not include any human main characters in any stories. The whole thing must be animated, and I do not want to animate humans. Thanks!

See I wish I had classes like this! Thanks small school :/
My high school only has around 400 students. (100 per grade level)... But it is an overfunded private school, so we have some really cool classes. Our class submits all of our work to different festivals around the country. My goal with this film is to win some prize of some kind at South By Southwest next year, so its gotta be good! Any ideas? :)

I once did a stop-motion film involving toy soldiers. It told the tale of a soldier leaving home, making friends within his ranks, facing combat first hand, and the hardship of losing one of his pals. In the end he was able to come home, though his mind was never quite the same. All done with no spoken words.

That is a really cool idea. Obviously, I don't want to make the same video you already did, but it is definitely a good thing to think about. Is this video on YT? I would love to watch it. :)

Also, go ahead and use the idea if you want, I don't care.
haha thanks, but I like to create my own ideas. I am only looking for a starting point. I like the idea of trying to tell a full story without words. I will definitely be looking to create a story with this premise. Thanks for the help! :)
