Gaming Starting casting group for established MMO Channel

Hey guys and gals,

I'm putting together a group of about 4-5 people to start a weekly casting show on FreeMMOStation. FreeMMOStation is already a well established youtube MMO channel/website, with over 42,000 subs it'd be a nice place for any smaller youtubers to get their names out there. The content of the cast will be fully managed by the team and I. We'll discuss many topics, like upcoming MMORPG's, features, updates etc. and will be backed by gameplay footage. I'd like to do this via live gameplay, however if it proves to be difficult we'll record gameplay and then do post-commentary over it.

Of course, this comes with requirements. I'm not looking for just any youtuber. I'm looking for people who are passionate about gaming and truly want to succeed in this field. Here's the requirements I'm looking for:

Must have some knowledge of MMO's/MMORPG's (Advanced knowledge is a plus)

Must have a clear microphone and voice. (This is a must, you will not be accepted without it.)

Must have dedication and willingness to learn about MMORPG's.

Weekend Availability. (Also a must.)

The podcast's I plan to record on Friday evenings and have uploaded by Saturday or Sunday. The amount of subscribers you have is not an issue, it's the quality of your work that I will be looking at.

You're probably wondering what you get out of this? When completed, the videos will be uploaded to FreeMMOStation's youtube channel as well as have an article on the homepage of the website. As such you will get a spot in the beginning of the videos to introduce yourself, All participants will have links to their channels in the video description which will be discussed at the end of the video. This opens your channel up to potentially thousands of new subscribers.

Well, I have no real video experience with MMO's however Ive beta'd for ESO, WoW and GuildWars and played them each for years! I have a pretty okay mic and I am Irish so I could spruce stuff up with a bit of foreignness!

Awesome! Doesn't have to be perfect, just needs to be clear. As is says in the post, some experience is ok. It's better than none lol. As long as you speak clearly and can be understood, that's ok with me. Will you be contributing video as well or just commentary?[DOUBLEPOST=1396467473,1396467390][/DOUBLEPOST]

The channel is an MMORPG informational channel, it won't be specific to any games. Though the videos themselves will be about specific topics, but the topics will be different every week.
 
@FreeMMOStation the videos can be posted by anyone with VIP and you can get vip by simply earning enough points from posting on the forums. I generally don't record mmo's but I do have a few that ive beta tested and played such as Rift, LoL, Smite, Loadout, and if I don't know the game I can do research on it because I generally like to play them. And I noticed you like to record on weekends which is the time I generally record anyways but due to work I usually get off work at 10pm Eastern on friday, saturday I have anywere from 12-3pm then 10pm+ after work, and Sunday 12-3pm.

Edit: I also currently have a blue yeti and I will be getting a Audio Technica at3035 soon so my sound quality will be good.

Blue Yeti works just fine. I have the pro version, and it works well. You don't have to have a profound knowledge of MMO's, if there's anything you're lacking I can fill you in. We will be discussing topics such as upcoming mmo's and their feature's, so it helps to be brushed up on that information before we do the actual cast. However we'll hold a meeting either on skype or TS3 prior to making the video. I expect these videos to be close to 1 hour long, so we need to have enough content to fill that time slot.

Your availability might be an issue, but we can try it anyways if you're interested.

I don't mind, whatever you guys are stuck for I can certainly help with! actually a video that may come in handy is my newest video, with tongue twisters XD ( Don't worry, that's not my microphone sound quality in the video, since my camera has no external audio output)

I am totally interested and ya :/ being in school and having a job sucks but thankfully in about a month we get out since i'm a senior so I would have more time but work is always like friday 5-10pm, saturday 5-10pm, Sunday 4-9pm but I head out atleast 30 minutes to make it to work. BUT! I start easter break after the 4th til the 21st so I can do week days until then because of having more time. So the week day schedule is monday, tuesday - off, Wednesday is 5-10pm, Thursday - off. So hopefully you have a better feeling of what my schedule is usually
 
Ohhh, it's like a talk show. Lol my bad, I didn't read it correctly.
I'd love to join this as well. Sounds like fun.

Um... No comment on the video xD. I did watch some of your videos, so your quality is ok in my book. I will be updating the thread with those who are interested and then I'll make a final decision later tonight.
