Starting a new channel need advice...

I am starting a channel which will include adventuring in the wilderness and filming it. I was wondering if there is really a viewer base out there and if you would watch a channel like it. I haven't made any videos yet because I wanna do research on the viewers out there. So, would you watch a channel like that?
 
Completely depends. I've found some videos outside my comfort zone and typical genre that I actually enjoyed because of how the video was setup.
 
Well FunforLouis is pretty popular? I would certainly find it enjoyable, I love it when people go out and film it like when their on a hike or something.
 
I'm a huge fan of epic landscapes and exploring the world kind of thing. I myself am a stay-at-home kind of person, but stuff like LOTR or epic landscape shots of beautiful scenery is something I love. If you live somewhere or near somewhere with cool scenery I would definitely watch stuff like that. If not, well there's got to be a way to get creative with it, maybe make a story out of it? Or tell a story while taking a hike.
 
I'd watch it! Don't make a channel based on how many views you will get, just go with your passion. If you think it will be fun, go for it regardless of the viewer base.
