Starting a Minecraft series

Hey guys,
I'm starting a minecraft series on my channel with a friend of mine, and it will be the first time I've done any gaming commentary or anything like that. So I was wondering if you had any tips or tricks that you use to make your commentaries entertaining, since there are a fair few gamers out there. :p
Thanks in advance guys!
Craig

Now keep in mind that I'm not a big gaming video kind of guy, but I'd say study the successful MineCraft videos before making your own.

There are thousands upon thousands of Minecraft videos, so you'd want to be unique, fresh and new.

Yeah I watch a lot of minecraft anyway, but I do get bored of some people's videos. I genuinely didn't even think of being unique... glad I asked this question, otherwise I'd have completely overlooked the main rule of being successful on YouTube. :p

I watch soooo many minecraft series on youtube and something that I've seen in a lot of the successful ones is that you need to be as confident as possible when commentating, and trying as much as you can to get your personality across is some of the best points you can give. I really like people like UberHaxorNova and TheSyndicateProject - sometimes I guess that overreacting to things that happen in the game can make it far more entertaining :/

Yeah I love Syndicate :p his reactions when he finds diamonds or a slime are INSANE! He takes it so seriously :p Funny guy.

Yeah gotta love Syndicate. I love how he links to the first episode on every video. I look back at it every so often so see how much he's advanced. I just wish I could be like that eventually :p

So we recorded some footage, and the first 2 episodes are out now. The 1st on my channel and the second on his. What do you guys think?
