Sponsorship questions

Gods of Odds

Loving YTtalk
Firstly I know I am not even close to being able to get any sponsors right now but I'm just wondering about them a bit. Do you or they decide how much you get paid or do you make an offer to them and once decided is there some sort of contract that means that price can't be changed until the contract is over or can you ask for the price to change at any time? Also does anyone know any good sponsors for a lore channel?

I imagine that this depends on what category your videos are in. However, generally sponsors will approach you with an offer which you can then either accept or decline. But I am no way near big enough to be approached, so this is based on what I have read and heard myself.

I've moved your thread to the monetization forum. :)

Ok thanks for letting me know that. Pretty much I can just wait and if i do ever get big enough then sponsors will come to me then.

Well, if you want to test things you could always try sending them an e-mail or a message via a contact form on their website. If you are professional, polite and don't ask for something too crazy then it is not impossible that they will accept. However, if you come to them it is unlikely that they will pay you for doing it. After all, you are coming to them.

Good point, thanks for replying. I'm guessing that is how all the big YouTubers have really good sponsors then by the sponsors coming to them.
