Speed Video setting on mobile phones

Anyone knows why the youtube mobile version doesn't include the speed setting?

Is it because google themselves said they don't think people will bother using it or do they plan to include it in the future?
 
I wish there was a speed setting, too... I like to use it to learn new songs by ear, and it stinks that it's not there on mobile devices (at least, not that I've been able to find...)! The portability of a cellphone + the ability to slow down (or speed up) a video would be so useful! :o
