Sound not at same time as video.

I need help. I saved some gameplay with my Elgato Game Capture and the audio goes faster than the video. You hear the knifing sound about 1-2 seconds before you see me knife the person, can anyone help? I know this may be a simple thing to fix but my editing program is too laggy for me to do it myself. Is there anyway I can do this free? By myself

Take the audio to audacity and change the speed.
Or go to after effect put the video and audio on different layers and stretch the audio or position it where it syncs with the movement.
