Hi guys,

So I'm going to be producing some youtube videos, I know my subject very well but I have no idea regarding what I need in order to edit and make attractive looking videos once I've filmed it. Can someone point me in the right direction with some apps or software that get the job done in a simple way and on a slight budget? Also, does the Mac have sufficient apps already for this like iMovie, Quicktime?

If you're on a low budget then the YouTube video creator is actually not too bad. YouTube provide various editing software for those who can't afford Sony and Adobe products. In terms of quality that comes down to the content.

iMovie is extremely sufficient for your videos, especially when youre just starting out with the editing as it is easy to use.

Simply you can use Youtube Video Editor, another comercial editor like Adobe Family, Camtasia, NCH videopad, Ulead, Sony vegas etc...
