Sony Vegas VS. Camtasia

i personally use camtasia, NOW HEAR ME OUT, i like it because it can do absolutely everything that sony vegas can do and it renders videos WAY faster, it took 2 & 1/2 hours to render a 20 minute video with sony when it took 35 minutes to render a 25 minute video, also camtasia is way easier to work with. everything is plane and simple and it has everything right there in front of you. i know all of this from experience because i have used both and only one of witch i like, and that would be camtasia. i still use camtasia and i probably always will unless i find something better.

Thanks for reading my advise :)

Camtasia actually can't do everything that Sony Vegas does, Sony Vegas has been around longer and is more trusted by most users. If Sony Vegas doesn't have a feature someone could easily program a plugin for sony Vegas, which is a major feature that Camtasia lacks. Yes, camtasia is faster and makes smaller files, but a lot of people go with Sony Vegas because of how advanced it is.

I totally get what you mean, I slightly disagree that Camtasia can do EVERYTHING Sony can do- Sony has a lot more options, it's more like Camtasia has all the features- Just with less options. I do prefer to use Sony Vegas in my videos currently, not really sure why tbh. But I do use Camtasia for videos I want to edit a lot more, it is very nice and simple.
