Sony Vegas Render Frozen?

Hey all, so I've been trying to render this video for the past two days now but every time I try my vegas either crashes or the render freezes. The one time it did work, half the video came out black. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Have you tried running Vegas as an administrator? What are your render options for both your project properties and video properties?

I am trying to render at 1080p 30fps if thats what you're asking for? and yes I always run it as administrator and have tried resetting it with the ctrl+shift method.

I mean what format? Sony AVC .mp4 30FPS 60i? Something else?

Okay so it finally rendered but now there is a lot of pixelation in my video ): The original recording had no pixelation in it its only now that I rendered it. I am running windows 8 64-bit version btw. any ideas why it could be like this? Also for my project properties, is it better to have 32-bit floating point (full range) or 8-bit? and if 32-bit, 1.000 or 2.222?
