Sony Vegas Pro or Adobe After Effects?

I use Sony Vegas Pro but i've heard from some people that adobe after effects is better.

Which one do you use and which one do you think is better?

Vegas and after effects are two different programs.
You must be thinking of Adobe Premiere Pro video editor in which case, I think it's better than Sony Vegas. But it is pretty expensive.:(

Ooops, my bad. Yeah, that's what i meant. Is Premiere Pro faster than Vegas?
 
The top-tier non-linear editors (used by professional studios) would be: Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro.

Nothing against Vegas - it's just designed to be consumer-grade software.
 
Adobe Premiere is more professional and higher-end software but Vegas is faster. I personally use Vegas since I'm so used to it and you can do pretty much anything in it. Its fine for what I do and I love it :)

I think its the Final Cut Pro for windows
