I last posted about my pc taking over 7 hours to render a ten minute video and i was told to try sony vegas 13 as the render times were better. So i have...Yet its taking the same or even longer to render a video now and sometimes it even stops at 18% done...after 4 hours and just renders a black screen. I dont usually use Vegas but when my game audio falls out of sync, Its the easiest software i know of to sync it back together as the video and audio are created separate in Vegas...Can anyone give me any tips or maybe any better software to use.

my Pc specs:
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT X2
4.gb RAM
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core processor 6000+ 3.00 GHZ
(Thats all i can find)

Hey pyroManiac93 hope your well bud. It would be a good idea if you could add additional information about your spec.
Can you install Speccy, search on Google and it's the first option.

After installed the program will run your desktop spec. Go ahead and post what's under "Summary".
From there I will try my best to help you out.

I used to have those specs on my PC but I had a better graphic card and 6gb ram. It's not really good with rendering I'm afraid (experience) takes like 2 hours to render a 10 min video. Not much you can really do. What video format do you render in?

@pyroManiac93, I used to render in WMV format before and to be honest with you file sizes were quite huge. So I tested numerous format and settings and now I render using .mp4 codec, file size is pretty decent, but ofcourse depends on the rendering setting.

I have 4gb ram. A dual core 3.16ghz processor and Windows 7 64bit and my graphics card is awful. It is probably the worst possible one. I can't run many games on my PC. I barely manage to run Garry's Mod haha. But I used to record in mp4 format and the render wouldn't always complete so I changed the format and now I render in wmv and it takes a little bit longer to render but completes first time every time. It usually takes me about 2 hours to render a 10 minute video. The specs of your PC will always come into the render process which is why I want to upgrade my PC! :D[DOUBLEPOST=1402994652,1402994578][/DOUBLEPOST]

I use Sony Vegas pro 12 by the way and changing version wouldn't effect anything with the rendering (I don't think)
