Sony vegas pro 12 HELP!

So my sony vegas won't let me import my gameplay that is recorded from my roxio hd capture device. It used to work before as I have been able to import the same media type and edit it ect on vegas before. For some reason now though, it will not let me import any media in to it at all. I have un-installed and re-installed a number of times. If it does let me import the media then it will not import it all, only say 1-2 minutes of it. Anyone who uses it have any ideas? Make sure your project settings in Vegas match the settings of the file you're trying to import (fps rates, resolution). This may fix the problem.

I also use Sony Vegas Pro 12.0 for editing and this was the reason why I couldn't import my Elgato's files when I first set it all up!

Unfortunately I have already done that. It automatically does that for me. Thanks anyway.

have yoy changed any recording settings so you it turns out in a new file format or codec?

Nope it records in 720p like it always has. The only thing that has changed is where the files saves after being recorded but I change that for each agmeplay e.g fifa file, cod file ect.

Is it the same with all videos or just one? it sounds like the video recording is corrupt in some way.

The cod videos seem to be fine but it is about 4/5 fifa and minecraft videos. I don't think the gameplays are corrupt because I have been able to watch them back using vlc media player and they seem fine.
