Sony Vegas Post

Hey guys,

Been at it for a couple weeks recording and editing footage but am now curious about one thing. So once you've exported your file in Sony Vegas, do any of you do further compression to get the file size down? For example, my average file size is between 700-1.2 GB (1680x1050 anywhere between 12,000 and 17,000 kbps). I have no problem waiting the hour or so it takes to upload to youtube as the quality is rather good. But, was wondering if anyone uses a program like Handbrake to further compress their videos.

In render settings, you'll want to make sure you do it as an mp4 and H.264 compression, other than that I can't think of anything else.

Right on. Was really just looking for someone to justify what I've been doing and you've done that sir. 98% of the time I'm going MP4. Thank you.[DOUBLEPOST=1367076866,1367076815][/DOUBLEPOST]Ooops, jumped the gun on my response. In Vegas I pick the mainconcept mp4 setting but how would I know whether I'm using h.264 compression in my render?
