Hey guys,

New to the forums and thought I'd suggest a Sony Vegas tip that helped me out big time when just starting out (NOTE: I'm still just starting out, ;/).

So if you have a long video that you want to test render settings out on but don't want to wait 10, 20 or however long to see the results what you can do is, above the timeline, highlight 10-15 seconds of your clip using the two yellow loop region arrows. Then, hit Render As, select your settings, and then, lastly, below near the options check "Render Loop Region Only". This will render just the selected parts of your video designated by the two yellow arrows (loop region).

Hope this is helpful for some.

Cheers,
