sony vegas black borders(resolved)

so i want to crop this video clip to 712 but there are black borders that wont allow me,it wants to stay at 512

There should be an option when you right click under composition or something then it will say "Keep aspect ratio" untick this and it should be okay![DOUBLEPOST=1394379530,1394379267][/DOUBLEPOST]

right click on the video layer and select 'event pan/crop' and on the left hand side there should be an option saying 'maintain aspect ratio' change that to no and the border shall be gone :)
