Sometimes you just gotta wing it

All of my videos have been unwritten, i try and just wing it and go with the flow. I think most of the time the best recordings come from something fresh and not from retakes lol

How do you go about makeing a video...

Hey if you have good improv skills that's such a good asset to have. I usually sit for a few hours (maybe more), writing the script for our videos . But it's entirely neccesary for our videos. Though I do envy those of you who can just wax lyrical infront of the camera :)

Usually I'll have an idea of what I want the video to be and wing it too. I've tried to write a script before and I just ended up spending a lot of time for something I hated. I'd like to get better, but I usually wing it

I always have a structure (it's easier with the cooking videos, because there's the opening, the ingredients, the cooking itself, and the closing bits), but I don't script anything out. Occasionally, I'll have notes or an outline, but I am much less believable when I'm reading off a script.

I wish I was able to wing it! It would save so much time on script writing. However, the few times I've tried, it made recording twice as long because I had to think of what to say, I constantly said "um" and generally sounded unsure of what I was saying, and I forgot to include some of the things I wanted to say.

all my best jokes come from voice actor improv, and me just adding random visual humour in the scene AS im aniamting it. winging it is A OK :)
