Something bad is happening :(

I've Got It
Well, it's just two weeks we relaunched The Arcade Diaries, formerly The JN Duo. We had six new videos uploaded in our channel.

But our channel, once again, may come to a very bad halt. Nigel said to me yesterday afternoon that he is leaving for his province in Aurora. I am very emotional at that point of saying his statement. It was a big plan for us to reach our goals and dreams, having big views and also subscribers by uploading many arcade/vlog videos. But with his temporary demise until October, I can't think of an alternate plan on how to make arcade videos when I'm just playing alone.
P.S. Nigel said to me before that in due time, he will take his laptop to the repair guy to get it up and running for gaming again.

Here's my only question: How can I be able to record arcade videos when I'm just alone? Do I need confidence? Do I need execution? Or do I need patience?

You could probably record your videos (from what I've seen) with yourself and a tripod behind you. It may make you self-conscious, but you'd probably get used to it.

Do you have anybody you could recruit just as a camera-holder? That's pretty low-stakes, and it could keep you going while you're playing arcade games.

I only use my nokia to record our vids so a tripod will not suffice though :'(

I might ask my new friend (a girl) to enjoin me on my task.

My recommendation is to make videos that you dont have to rely on others to make. 99% of the time you can only rely on yourself to make this dream come true.

Like XingCat said, just bring a tripod (sometimes my tripod is like my imaginary friend). Or if possible, bring in someone completely new to videogames/arcades. My friend was doing a lets play game (via tripod), his friend came in during the shoot and started asking a bunch of questions and his video took off. She kind of stole the show, her questions were all the same ones eveery boyfriend gets asked while he is in the "battlemode" zone

Just do it. I found that confidence comes to you the more you make videos. It might take longer or it might come very fast, but just dive into it. If you don't try you will never know what would have been, trust me, i am kicking myself over this one every day.

What you probably need most is the courage to face your fears and do it which of course will be scary. Like you said you could ask another friend to help film or maybe even a family member, I think that's an awesome idea. Even if a few takes fail there is no harm in trying.
