some help with software :) please

Hey there guys Kish Kosh here, Was needing help with a certain thing, Well at the moment My content... I have beeen working very hard to do what I do for my channel as aswell as my youtube partner has (kosh aka friend) and we need your help. we have been using basic editing software but got the most out of it, if there any better editing software that is free what's better than movie maker. (i know sony vaegas pro is the best but sadly not free) and anything else that could possibly do comcorder faces in corner of other things such as gameplay. Since out videos are based around Real life parody/entertainment with the side of gaming.

Any help or suggestions would be amazing thanks you guys!

I don't use Windows but as @Styxie said, I think lightworks is good. It's available free here
