Hey guys,
As I'm sure that the majority of you know of the recent 'Pixilation glitch' that is happening when you uploaded a video up to YouTube. I've seen many people give reasons such as bad internet or that YouTube itself is changing something in regards to the video codecs/graphic (hence the missing 480p option in some videos). I myself have had this pixilation glitch happen to me and it is f**king frustrating when you put hard work into a video only to have it spoiled as soon as it's uploaded -.- BUT...I've found a solution ;D
This had worked for me as I tested it out/uploaded it etc! It works for me but I cannot guarantee that it will work for you, just hoping that it will
and just trying to help
Prior to this glitch happening I would render in .wmv on Vegas Pro 12, but after looking around and fiddling I've found that rendering in .mp4 in the 'Main Concept AVC/AAC' Rendering option on Vegas 12 does not have the pixilation glitch when uploaded. I'm not sure if this option is available in Premiere Pro/Camtasia/Final Cut Pro etc., but I'm pretty sure that it would be
I have also uploaded some screenshots of the rendering option just in case you are unable to find it in Vegas 12 (or any version before that)
Step 1: Render As
Step 2: Select the drop down arrow on 'MainConcept AVC/AAC (*.mp4, *.avc)'
Step 3: Select 'Internet HD 720p' as your Rendering Format
Step 4: Render Your Video and The Upload
Hope This has helped people that are stuck on how to fix this glitch! Anymore problems just let me know and I will try to help in any way I can
