I've Got It
I think your Socialblade rank determines your grade as per the following. It may be slightly off, so please tell me if it is or if you know lower categories.

Rank Grade
1-10 A++
11-50 A+
51-1000 A
1001-2k A-
2k-10k B+
10k-100k B
100k-500k B-
500k-2M C+
2M-? C
 
Based on channels I've looked up, this is pretty accurate. I dipped into the B- range for a few days after a video went semi-viral, and then things returned to normal. I think my Socialblade rank went as low as 480,000.

I'm almost certain it is. Two of my channels when they were ranked just outside the top 100k were B- and when they were ranked just inside 100k they were B. I've checked this breakdown with several other channels too.[DOUBLEPOST=1535100773,1535100705][/DOUBLEPOST]

That's right but it was getting too much work to find the ranking cut offs for lower grades. Feel free to help me if you'd like.
