In case this is of interest to anyone, Social Blade grade and rank seems to be based on the activity of the last 7 days.

I had a B grade until recently when a high-view video got taken down. This video had as many views on it as my whole channel gets in 9 days. With it going down, its views counted as negative views on Social Blade, meaning I had negative views for the last 7 days and my grade became D-. Today, the negative number has moved beyond the 7th day, so my last 7 days are back to normal again, and my grade is once again B. If it was looking past the last 7 days, it would take into account that my last 8 days would still be in the negative.

Yea I noticed this too. I had one video get 20K in a few days and I went up to B- it cooled down and back to C+
 
Yep, fluctuates when drastic drop in views occur. Sometimes you see huge YouTubers get an "F" grade when they take down popular vids. IMO, the grade means nothing.
 
Yeah, take those SB stats with a grain of salt...Last year I privated a video that had 177 million views, if I ever make it public again I'll get an A+++ grade and probably be in the top 10 channels for a week.
