Was anyone affected? I just know if you didn't make the choice, YouTube was gonna make the choice for you.

Has anyone here suffered any ill effects to their channel yet?
 
What was supposed to happen on 10th December? Is that the deadline for choosing if your content is for kids?
 
So far I haven't noticed any ill effects on my channel. but I haven't thoroughly checked the past 3 years either, so there's that.
 
The new terms of service went into effect. No big deal. Too many of the online 'experts' stir up drama and fear for more views.
I think COPPA comes in January. It will affect relatively few of us, despite all the furor.
I try not to sweat the small stuff. :)

My point exactly many people panicked or exploited it for views
 
Yeah, I only made 2 videos on it cause I legit thought this was the end, but we got people makings videos daily. Then all those 'COPPA CALLED ME, YOU'RE NOT GONNA LIKE WHAT THEY SAID' type videos too.

I chose to stay off it all together because I had faith the Government would contradict themselves on video games since they said they was bad anyway lol. Now Youtube still needs to help out the genuine kids channels they put into this mess.
