So stuck for ideas

I've Got It
I can't stress this enough, I like an idea but when I start filming and I don't find it funny or good enough I throw the idea away, I hate how it's so hard for me to come up with ideas.. What techniques do you guys use to come up with ideas !?

I tend to let ideas come naturally. People can tell when you're forcing something.

When I get stuck, I'll do things like film Tag videos.. sure they might not be as original, but at least it gets the video-making juices flowing! And sometimes they end up being pretty funny :)

I usually think of a topic I might want to work with then I think of a plot that would be related to it, sometimes ideas come and BAM "Woooah, this sounds really good" like when you say "I like an idea", maybe -3-?
^ That might sound like the usual script writing '-' (even thought I havent really done anything yet, I already got scripts ready ;P)

About that one, I believe I saw a similar topic right here on YTalk (from 2013, praise random google appearences) that said people who make the comedy videos don't find them very funny as they were the ones who made em, so its like the effect of hearing the same joke a lot of times, I believe I remember a reply that said the person didnt really found his videos funny but people who watched did actually found funny and enjoyable, probably cause of the same reason.

Too much text, my bad.

I don't mean to sound like I am bragging but for me it comes natural. I came up with a new series today and it is specifically in the collaboration category. I think it will be more recurring than just a series though because the Idea is so out there that I'm not sure I can get people often enough to work on this type of video. I was rolling over with laughter earlier just thinking about how funny it's going to be.

My advice to you would be to let Ideas come naturally. If you can't think of anything or are to self conscious about making certain videos then YouTube might not be for you :/ You have to just take leaps sometimes and not think so much about whether or not people who like you or your videos and ideas. Take your interests and hobbies and apply them to your channel. That's what I have done. Don't ever try to tackle something in a video that doesn't fit into who you are because like someone stated above me: people can tell when you are being disingenuous.
