This really annoys me because I tend to obsessively check my views. Most days, it updates once. But in the past week, it has skipped days, which is irritating.

I think this is what happens as you start getting popular. Your views may need to be audited or verified.

From what I've heard that usually only starts becoming a big problem when you're getting a couple hundred views per video or above. My videos tend to do that occasionally while others will update every few minutes. It seems to have a mind of its own which is a big problem for me because I'm still very new to this and it leaves me waiting to know whether the video is doing well or not...
